How I escaped years of abuse and rebuilt my life

In this episode, Nelsy opens up about the abusive relationship that changed- and almost ended- her life. What began as a passionate military romance soon turned into years of manipulation, control, and domestic abuse. Despite reaching out for help, she found herself trapped in a cycle of fear and silence, with little accountability from authorities.

Now free, Nelsy shares her powerful story of survival, courage, and reclaiming her voice. She reveals how she found the strength to escape, what kept her going through years of Trauma, and how she’s working to prevent others from enduring the same pain.

This episode sheds light on the often unseen struggles of domestic violence survivors, the failures of the system meant to protect them, and the importance of community awareness and early intervention.
