Bestselling Author & Prize-Winning Journalist Chip Jacobs

Welcome to a new edition of the Famous Interviews with Joe Dimino series. On this episode, we talk with Bestselling Author & Prize-Winning Journalist Chip Jacobs. His forthcoming book, Later Days, is the follow-up to his debut novel Arroyo—a historical fiction set around the 1913 construction of Pasadena’s mysterious Colorado Street Bridge. Arroyo became a Los Angeles Times bestseller, a CrimeReads most-anticipated book, and an Independent Book Publisher Award winner. In 2021, he released The Darkest Glare: A True Story of Murder, Blackmail, and Real Estate Greed in 1979 Los Angeles. A Pasadena native and USC graduate in journalism and international relations, Chip brings a sharp, witty, and deeply human voice to everything he writes. From Trojan football and Beatles devotion to guitar, running, and sugary cereals, his passions are as eclectic as his storytelling. From his base in Southern California, we get into a fascinating conversation. Dig in.
