We caught up with this decorated artist and lifelong Kansas City Chiefs fan to talk about his October 3–4 performance at Legends Field, home of the Kansas City Monarchs. Kansas City is more than a stop on the tour — it’s the birthplace of jazz and a sound that shaped modern music. Karl reflects on his storied career as a funk and jazz saxophonist, flutist, and vocalist, his work with The Greyboy Allstars, touring with The Rolling Stones since 2014, and the energy he’s bringing to Kansas City.
