Before the release of their third studio album, Metallica was an up-and-coming thrash band playing hard and fast metal music for fans to swing their necks, bang their heads, and throw up their fists in a repetitive motion. When they released Master of Puppets in 1986, the band pushed the limits of musicianship. Master brought heavy metal and thrash metal to the forefront, requiring technical musicians outside the genre to pay attention and admit this band knew how to play their instruments well.

I had this idea to share my thoughts and experiences on some of the greatest music albums out there. I wanted to write album reviews that were different from any other album reviews sites. I want to invoke passion in the reader. I want them to either agree, disagree, or be curious enough to have a new experience.
Unlike other music review websites, which are objective, I feel the best music review sites tell a story, not only about the album but about the person reviewing the album and how it influenced them.
Music is the greatest thing on this planet. It can heal the most broken heart. It can give confidence to those in need and it can bring us all closer together to one common goal.
