Episode 53: Interview with Brazilian children's book author Isabel Cintra

  1. Episode 53: Interview with Brazilian children's book author Isabel Cintra Lisa jacovsky 17:53

Brazilian, raised in São Joaquim da Barra, small town in the interior of São Paulo – Something that says a lot about me.

I entered the magical world of literature in childhood during elementary school. I was a student in love with writing classes, grammar and words.

A shy girl with her head full of thoughts, an enormous desire to share with the world, but without courage to do so. Always dreaming of seeing what I can call the “right to normality” in children’s stories and fairy tales.

Why not: an enchanted princess who looked like me? I believe that books are windows to the world, I want to present children with a world where differences are a value, something beautiful to be welcomed
