Resilience in the Reel World: A Film Producer’s Tale of Recovery & Reinvention with Jonathan Bogner

As I sat across from Jonathan, I couldn’t help but be moved by the weight of his story—a compelling narrative that mirrors the cinema he once brought to life. Our latest episode is an intimate expose with Jonathan, a film producer whose ascent to Sundance success was abruptly halted by a Health crisis of cinematic proportions. His candid recount of battling heart failure and strokes, his formidable path to recovery, and the heart transplant that has given him a second chance at life is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. The conversation also offers a behind-the-scenes look at how he pivoted his career into reality TV production against the odds of a weakened heart, proving that passion can fuel us even in our darkest hours.

Further into our heartfelt exchange, we unwrap the film and television production layers, examining the critical roles that bring our favorite stories to the screen. I share insights into the world of producing – a craft that I hold dear, and we unravel the differences between the producer, line producer, and executive producer, each a cog in the cinematic machine. The discussion also highlights the allure of the director’s chair, especially to actors like Tom Cruise, and ponders the Legacy we leave in the Entertainment industry. It’s not just about the credits that roll at the end of a film; it’s about the indelible mark we make through our work and the ethos of servant leadership that guides us. Join us for this robust dialogue that will leave you inspired, reflective, and eager for what’s next on our creative journey.

Jonathan Bogner is a remarkable individual with a heroic and inspirational life story. He was a successful reality TV and feature film producer, and an entrepreneur with multiple businesses www.bognerentertainmentinc.com. In 2008 he suffered heart failure, two massive strokes, and lost the ability to speak (a condition referred to as aphasia). Jonathan’s resilience and determination helped him recover along with a cardio defibrillator (ICD) implanted in his chest. That at a moment’s notice will SHOCK him back to life all the while producing reality shows and movies. But the journey didn’t stop there; for, he had to face another life-altering moment in 2022 when he had a heart transplant. His tenacity and sense of humor carried him through these extraordinary experiences. Steve Ramona discovered his calling at a young age and is now on a mission to share his secret sauce for success. He thrives on forging meaningful connections, sharing referrals, and watching people flourish.

His contagious passion for the Law of Increase makes his podcast "Doing Business with a Servant's Heart" so successful. This show is chock-full of inspiring stories about overcoming challenges and serving others.

Steve has a knack for spreading good vibes and elevating those around him. He learned from his dad that the entrepreneurial spirit is a great way to make money. I can share stories of how people serve, struggle and win. We all must overcome something, so why not learn to serve and overcome it much faster? I learned early working in our Health Club the importance of customer service. I learned that the more I served it was a win-win for everyone. I enjoy working with people, referring people, and helping people grow. The Law of Increase is my mission when I network around the world.

I love to mentor business people and offer all the resources I have. To win, you must grow yourself first; then, you can share this with others! I am an avid reader and have built a large book directory on sharing with others.
