Ep.5-Karl's Story-"Ho’oponopono-make things right.”

  1. Ep.5-Karl's Story-"Ho’oponopono-make things right.” Jackie Scully 41:51

I interviewed a fellow AP Psychology teacher who I met through a teacher group on facebook years ago. Karl shares about his background growing up on the Big Island-Hawaii in a sugar plantation community and how difficult it was for him to navigate the college process since there was this expectation to work on the plantation. He shares many wonderful ideas about diversity, bringing people together, work/life balance for both teachers and students, and how we need to do more to better our overall Mental Health. He ends the interview with a beautiful Hawaiian saying “ho’oponopono-to make things right.” We are continuing the aloha spirit in this episode. So many great ideas in the last 16 minutes. Enjoy!
