I loved this interview! I would chat away with Laurie Buchanan all day long–even if she didn’t have a new book release. But, luckily for me, Book #3 in her Sean McPherson series was released—IMPERVIOUS—and so I had fun reading the book, too! Of course, her books should come with a warning—do not sit down to read this book unless you have some food in the house. Or perhaps you should read it at a restaurant? I love books about reading retreats (I mention the one I attended in this interview) and books with food—and this one has some of the best descriptions of great meals. I know the joys of rustic living (My childhood was rustic! We had an outhouse.) and love a book where the perfect wine is chosen to accompany a good meal. Altogether, Laurie is the real deal—she’s funny and charming and a heck of a word artist. She’s terrific! Take a break and enjoy this interview!
