My twin sister was having difficulty getting the gas cap off when she went to put gasoline in her car. That’s when I recommended that she connect with the Makers Program at the Illinois Assistive Technology Program in Springfield, IL (IATP).

The IATP’s Makers Program helps people with disabilities in Illinois get the assistive devices they need. They can create custom-designed devices or modify existing ones to fit individual needs, all free of charge to Illinois residents. They even provide design files online so people can 3D print their own creations.
