1. The HR Plug: LaShawn Davis Transforming Corporate Culture & Employee Relations Anika Jackson 32:37

LaShawn Davis is an Atlanta based DE&I expert, founder and CEO of the HR plug, and an advocate for empowering employees in the workplace. She works with both employees and employers to create a more balanced and equitable workplace culture.

LaShawn Davis was always vocal in her neighborhood and was referred to as “the Plug” for her ability to get people what they needed. As she grew older, she saw a lack of knowledge and access for people of color and those without privilege. She made it her mission to empower and advocate for employees in the workplace, and now works to help organizations understand how to take care of their teams while still being profitable. She encourages employees to own their greatness, and teaches HR professionals how to be gatekeepers of culture. With her company, she helps startups and entrepreneurs understand the difference between 1099 contractors and employees, while also working with established organizations to mitigate risk and rebuild trust with their teams.

In this episode, you will learn the following:
1. How to Transform Corporate Culture and Retain Employees: Learn how LaShawn is helping businesses understand their need to take care of their teams and still be profitable.
2. How to Become Indispensable: Discover the strategies LaShawn has to help employees understand their greatness and how it makes them indispensable.
