Then James sits down with our guest, Elizabeth Chafcouloff, who is a speech-language pathologist specializing in the management of swallowing disorders (dysphagia) in adults. She talks about her background, career beginnings, and how she came to found Speech Therapy Cambodia, an organization which pioneered dysphagia therapy in Cambodia. Elizabeth also shares some of the challenges in setting up the organization, including cultural differences, creating training materials, and then implementing those training programs.
