How Does an Freedom Help an Entrepreneur in Business?

  1. How Does an Freedom Help an Entrepreneur in Business? Deborah Johnson 25:12

What is the meaning of freedom and how does freedom help an entrepreneur in business? With July 4 approaching as this episode airs, Greg joins Deborah to focus on a few historical facts and look at the realities of what was fought for in obtaining our personal freedoms. Historically, every generation goes through a period of shock for the short-term, then they figure out a new plan that works for them.

The Washington Patriots in the 1700’s were radicals in their day because they opposed the British Parliament. They no longer wanted to be ruled by a king who was a continent away and taxed them heavily. As they experienced short-term failures, they had to double-down with laser focus on their goal to fulfill their meaning of freedom to not live in oppression. In the same way, the realities of today’s entrepreneurial life takes gorilla tactics with clearly defined goals necessary for survival along with the execution of a solid plan. We can learn a lot from history, as it tends to repeat itself in cycles, each generation opposing some of what came before. Rights that were fought hard for with blood, sweat and intense determination is the foundation of our meaning of freedom. The freedom to own property, the right to free speech and the right to move about freely are just a few of those freedoms. Let us truly be grateful and never take this for granted as we celebrate both our personal and professional freedoms.

Up for multiple GRAMMY Awards and spending over 20 years in the entertainment industry, Deborah Johnson, M.A., built multiple self-driven businesses.
