Have a system in place for kids who have a more immediate concerns such as a report of bullying, feeling ill, or a bunch of things that may come up, but EVERYONE should already know what to do when these things come up so ALL people in the building can direct the student to where they need to go in that case. Work with with Mental Health team to come up with a way to ask teaching staff about concerns they have like this and try to set up something BEFORE it occurs.
This will provide relief to the system without expensive and overwhelming overhauls.
