Barriers to Change

  1. Barriers to Change Evergreen Podcasts 12:01

Everyone likes change, right? Not so fast. Humans may adapt well to change but when change is forced upon them, things don’t go as smoothly. Since we are self-preserving beings, forced change can be terrifying, and it also kicks our survival instincts into gear.

In our fourth episode, Jeff gets into:
-The down and dirty of change and the challenges our customers must overcome throughout this process

-Our need to control our environment and specific situations around us to feel safe

-The amount of risk that humans try to limit when change is forced upon them, and why they do this

In the Science of Sales Podcast, we look at the scientific reasoning behind customer decision making, and how you can directly earn and build trust with your future clients. Give our third episode a listen below!

Matt Dentino Executive Producer - Driving Change Podcast

I come from a large Italian family. I’m number seven in the line of ten kids!

When my dad passed away some years ago, I was fortunate enough to be there as the end was coming. I was standing just to the right of his hospital bed; he was lying there with his eyes closed. All of a sudden, Dad opens his eyes. He looks up at the ceiling with a look of peace – and maybe accomplishment – on his face. Then he closes his eyes for the last time. I guess out of instinct, I reached down and kissed him on that prickly cheek one last time. My dad left a legacy in that life well lived! A legacy based on three main principles: Family, Service, and Dedication. I do what I do to carry on that legacy to the best of my ability.
