Andrew Pessin is Professor of Philosophy at Connecticut College and Campus Bureau Editor for The Algemeiner—and portrayed “The Genius” on the former Late Show with David Letterman. Author of academic articles and books as well as works of philosophy for a general audience, his book, Uncommon Sense: The Strangest Ideas from the Smartest Philosophers, was named an “Outstanding Academic Title” by Choice. He has also published four novels, and greatly enjoys meeting (either in person or by video link) with the many bookclubs that have adopted them.
