1. Ep. 9 His fitness journey began slow and steady before taking off Bernie Borges 26:50

This week you'll meet Lee. His journey to become physically fit began out of necessity due to a serious medical condition. He needed to alter his diet and lose weight. He began working out in his 50s. He started working out very gradually. Over time, his workout routine progressed, and now he looks and feels decades younger. Lee says he feels great!   

Lee's story is very inspirational for several reasons. You'll hear Lee point out that the more progress he made in his fitness journey, the better he felt. His other health issues faded away. And, he's enjoying working out with his young adult sons. 

Lee reminds us that in our Midlife seasons we want to enjoy things we’ve worked hard for, so we need to be healthy and that requires some level of physical fitness.

Bernie Borges Host Midlife Fulfilled Podcast

I started podcasting in 2013. My most recent podcast is the Midlife Fulfilled weekly podcast which launched in February 2022.

I was frustrated by a lack of fulfillment, in spite of good health, a successful career, good fitness, a healthy marriage, and overall happiness. Despite these blessings, I was lacking fulfillment.

I conducted a survey and discovered that I wasn’t alone on the journey to find more fulfillment. As an experienced podcaster, I knew that I could provide a platform to help men and women in midlife find more fulfillment and joy through a weekly podcast.
