Hello Care Partners,

With our Aging population more and more first responders are experiencing individuals with brain changes, but they may not have specific training for these situations.

Join me and special guest Lt. Jim Petry from Miami Township Ohio as we discussed the benefits of dementia training for first responders. Jim Petry has been in the fire service for 30 years. He is currently a fulltime Lieutenant at Miami Township Fire & EMS in Clermont County, Ohio. He coordinates their Community Paramedic Program and Peer Support team.

He has been a member of the Tri State Peer Support team since 2019. He is currently working on his masters at Xavier University to become a Licensed Practice Counselor. He is a certified Ohio EMT-P, EMS/Fire Instructor, State Fire Inspector, IAFF Peer Support 16 Hour. .

Jim is passionate in supporting others to live a physically, mentally, and spiritual quality of life.
