The one thread that is woven through Charmaine’s puzzle is relationship. She used collaboration and sponsorship in pretty much everything that she did in her businesses. For her, sponsorships are a way of collaborating with businesses and brands to bring on different types of support to her projects.
Charmaine was a correctional officer before she decided to go back to school, work in a non-profit, and opened up a mediation company. Working in a jail taught her to be comfortable with conflict, address crisis and get things on track.
