Baylor College of Medicine a number of years ago said that I think it was like 85% of all, illnesses begin with the body overloaded with stress. And so sometimes we’re stressed even when we don’t know we are. Because we’re breathing shallowly or holding our breath and the body interprets that as stress. And so in laughter yoga, the stress levels of cortisol, which is one of the main ones, go down very quickly. And so we have what is being elevated is what I call happy hormones. Bio:

Emma is a Laughter Yoga Leader and Teacher Certified through the International Laughter Yoga University. She was trained as a teacher by the founder of Laughter Yoga, Dr. Madan Kataria. Dr. Kataria also gave Emma the title of Laughter Ambassador.

Laughter Yoga is a powerful tool for business/corporate professionals, caregivers, medical professionals, parents, the elderly and young children.

Emma has made presentations and given sessions in a wide variety of settings which include Senior Residential and Educational Centers; Alzheimer’s/ Dementia facilities; AARP and other social organizations; Houston Aphasia Recovery Center; Stroke Recovery Groups; with the Girl Scout Organization, Yoga studios and much more. She works weekly with Dementia clients in a Memory Care Facility.
