Wow! What a thrill to be able to chat with Jamie Lee Curtis about her Podcast: Letters from Camp.

Jamie is the producer, co-creator and star of this delightful Podcast, which captures all the best in traditional radio theater and heartfelt passion to give families a wonderful vehicle to get together and just have good-old fashioned fun.

It is a smart comedy worthy of the best writers from early Hollywood — the family Ephrons comes to mind. It is based on a letter that Boco Haft, one of Jamie Lee Curtis’ many godchildren, wrote to her years ago and did not send. When the letter was discovered many years later, Jamie encourage Boco to run with it and write more. And that she did! Clever, funny, heartfelt prose that is performed by many of Jamie’s talented actors, friends, and family.

Of course, Jamie, as Camp Director Sue is brilliant as always. But special note should be made of Sunny Sandler (daughter of Adam Sandler) who takes on the lead role of Mookie (rhymes with cookie) Hooper, a precocious budding journalist who writes about her camp adventures. A star is born!

Jamie Lee Curtis initiated and executive produced the audiobook recording. The piece is dated in 2005 to avoid modern day social media.

Celebrity voice artists include Jake Gyllenhaal (another godchild) and Daniel Radcliffe, who plaed Jamie’s son in The Tailor of Panama (2001) before he became Harry Potter.
