  1. Taking a Pause for Self- Discovery & Finding Your True Calling with Rain Elizabeth Stickney S4E16 Sheri Miter 48:54

Feel inspired to follow your heart with a transformative journey of healing, Meditation, and acceptance.

“We really need people's lights to shine, especially these days. We really need people happy and moving into the world with their whole selves and doing what they love, because that love is going to make a difference for the struggles that we have globally.”

Rain Elizabeth Stickney is a lifelong meditator, expressive artist, and body worker with an integral approach to wellness, using body, mind, heart, and spirit to guide clients and support community.

Rain Elizabeth Stickney had always been drawn to meditation and healing, and was deeply affected when her sister's house burned down during a wildfire. After years of trying to fit in and feeling anxious, she found herself in tears outside a bank job she could not bring herself to take. With a deep breath, she allowed herself grace and chose to move to Vermont with her family, where she found a new appreciation for the environment and the Earth. She created a gratitude practice to keep in touch with her community and share her love of meditation, healing, and living an authentic life.

In this episode, you will learn the following:

1. How can one use meditation and healing to unravel and heal human discomfort?

2. How your vision for what you want your life to look like may cause you to move clear across the country!

3. How can one keep in touch with their community during transitions?

Sheri Miter Serial Entrepreneur

Sheri Miter is a serial entrepreneur. Her first business was selling painted rocks to neighbors when she was 7! This entrepreneurial spirit led her to many failures but also some huge successes, such as a Chimney Cleaning business with her husband Tom, a professional firefighter, and eventually a business as a Mary Kay sales director. While in Mary Kay, Sheri led her team to six-figure years multiple times, and YES, she drove the iconic pink Cadillac for part of her career!

Despite her success as a Sales Director in Mary Kay, Sheri found herself at a crossroads after 25 years. She began to question if this was the path she truly wanted for the next decade of her life. Even after achieving her best year, she felt a sense of weariness and asked herself, 'Is it ever going to be enough?' This internal struggle led her to a brave decision- to step away from her role as a Sales Director and embark on a new journey. This journey led her to become a Gallup Certified CliftonStrengths Coach. Today, Sheri has crafted a life she loves, assisting other highly successful women to discover their 'what’s next' career. She is passionate about working with women who have achieved success making the money, but are now eager to make an impact by unleashing their God-given strengths and embracing their true calling!

When Sheri isn’t busy with her clients or recording a new podcast, she cherishes her time with her grandkids and embarks on exciting adventures with her husband. Their escapades often include the beach, biking, or out boats. At the end of a fulfilling day, they savor the beauty of the sunset with a cocktail in hand, a testament to Sheri's belief in enjoying life's journey.
