  1. 5 Leadership Styles that Create Bottlenecks - One Might Surprise You! S3/EP36 Sheri Miter 31:47

Don't be mad at me, but the real reason your sales team may be underperforming: might be you. As a leader, it's easy to inadvertently create bottlenecks that hold your team back from their full potential. In this episode, we will dive into the five types of leaders who create bottlenecks and  actionable steps to break through them.

What are the results of the bottleneck that's been created?  You might find yourself in one of these 2 places:  working too much themselves, being stuck, or sliding backwards. To break out of these patterns, a leader must take a deep dive and look at their leadership style!

In this episode, you will learn the following:1. The real reason your sales team is underperforming may be because you, as the leader, have created a bottleneck.

2. What happens to your momentum when you've created the bottleneck

3. How to break through the bottleneck and achieve more with your team!

Sheri Miter Serial Entrepreneur

Sheri Miter is a serial entrepreneur. Her first business was selling painted rocks to neighbors when she was 7! This entrepreneurial spirit led her to many failures but also some huge successes, such as a Chimney Cleaning business with her husband Tom, a professional firefighter, and eventually a business as a Mary Kay sales director. While in Mary Kay, Sheri led her team to six-figure years multiple times, and YES, she drove the iconic pink Cadillac for part of her career!

Despite her success as a Sales Director in Mary Kay, Sheri found herself at a crossroads after 25 years. She began to question if this was the path she truly wanted for the next decade of her life. Even after achieving her best year, she felt a sense of weariness and asked herself, 'Is it ever going to be enough?' This internal struggle led her to a brave decision- to step away from her role as a Sales Director and embark on a new journey. This journey led her to become a Gallup Certified CliftonStrengths Coach. Today, Sheri has crafted a life she loves, assisting other highly successful women to discover their 'what’s next' career. She is passionate about working with women who have achieved success making the money, but are now eager to make an impact by unleashing their God-given strengths and embracing their true calling!

When Sheri isn’t busy with her clients or recording a new podcast, she cherishes her time with her grandkids and embarks on exciting adventures with her husband. Their escapades often include the beach, biking, or out boats. At the end of a fulfilling day, they savor the beauty of the sunset with a cocktail in hand, a testament to Sheri's belief in enjoying life's journey.
