ASK BTA — In a technology rut? It’s spring, be positive and move forward!

In this BoomerTECH Adventures’ video blog, Chris, Jill, and Ed discuss ways that they use their technology creatively. After a long winter (for those of us in places like Maine), we are ready to move beyond random Facebook scrolling, boring emails, and tentative texts. We want some excitement! Fun!

We want to use our online possibilities to learn and inspire us. In this session, the three of us do just that.

Jill, our resident gardener, talks about the various ways she connects with others around the world to learn more about techniques and processes that inspire her in her gardens. Chris, ever the adventurer, discusses his journey to find an easier way to pull stumps, with a bottle jack. And Ed, decides he needs to move out of his winter funk by taking an online photography course.

Ed Brazee is co-founder of BoomerTECH Adventures with colleagues Jill Spencer and Chris Toy. BoomerTECH Adventures helps fellow boomers develop their digital expertise while modeling and encouraging compassion, honesty, fairness, respect for diversity, and adherence to ethical behavior. Ed is professor emeritus of education at the University of Maine where he taught for 25 years. He was also publications editor for the Association for Middle Level Education, and directed a highly regarded summer institute for teachers.
