Besides having an incredible smile, Monique Pate also has an invaluable wealth of knowledge when it comes to cancer.  She discusses her cancer journey with me in Part 1 of our interview.  In that video, we discuss the difficulty she had, telling her parents that she had cancer.  In this video we discuss the incredible importance of telling family and friends about an important health issue, much sooner than later! It could be a matter of life and death!

Life is short…hopefully we all know that.  Each day is a gift, a true blessing!  One of the worst feelings would be to have somebody close to you, pass away, and you weren’t told that they had cancer, for instance.

I am a stage 4 prostate, bone, and lung cancer patient/thriver. I have been battling cancer since early 2021. I have a Youtube channel called @2byourownhero. I always look to inspire people to appreciate their life, and appreciate their health.
